    Musings: No Buy February – Week 2

    Tracking is truly a way to hold you accountable. The Financial Diet and just about EVERYONE else who tries to help others manage their finances recommend writing it all down. I know it works. But I don’t want to admit it to myself. That’s too transparent. That’s too accountable. That’s too real. But doing it week by week has made it a little less intimidating and truly hold me accountable for the crap that I buy.     Well, I tried… I really, honestly did. I gave it a gallant effort! Here is a breakdown of what I spent on erroneous stuff: Food: Breakfasts – Noah’s, Cafe at work (2) Lunch – Cafe at work Dinners – Blaze Pizza, Sac Co-op Other (Not Meals) – Sauced //Drinks and dessert, celebrating Carloyn’s bday, Starbucks // Reloaded my gift card w/ $10 Gifts – Toys R Us // 2 birthday presents and Valentine’s day present, Hallmark // Birthday cards, Valentine’s Day Cards, and wrapping paper (honestly had to buy a new roll for specific present, not enough on rolls at home), Valentine’s day gift, which I cannot list or it’ll ruin the surprise 😉…

    Fit, financially… I am not. January was dedicated to making sure I started a savings program for myself. Don’t judge. Yes, I know I should have been saving prior to my 34th year of life.
