    Musings: A Common Denominator

    A death, a wedding reception, and a birthday… What do they all have in common? The ability to remind me that I have chosen to surround myself with a great group of friends. I’ve been told on countless occasions that it’s rare, while simultaneously being complimented, on the strength and length of my friendships. Secretly, I’m also glad that many of them have blended together and most of the various groups of friends have all become friends. Some people may say I spread myself to thin.     Musings: You’re My Boy, (Big)Blue!

    Be well, my friend! Yesterday I said an almost tearful goodbye to my friend, my literal ride or die Big Blue. Yes, I’m slightly heartbroken about giving up my car of fourteen years. That car has become part of my identity. Big Blue and I just go together, we just have since I inherited him (sometimes I used both genders for BB, not too sure why).     Thinking out Loud – Black && Orange Edition

    Black and orange aren’t just for Halloween… Amanda at RUNNING WITH SPOONS. …it’s for the BEST baseball team in the MLB! And by best I’m not talking about the best record, even though we are doing pretty fabulously right now (26-15), I’m just talking about the BEST in my EYES! My G-men, Los Gigantes, the SF Giants!! Yesterday I was lucky enough to take the day off, head to the City by the Bay with four of my faves, and watch my G-men whoop on ATL.     The Art of Friendship

    Scrolling through IG this AM, which is sadly a regular habit, I came across this quote: “Don’t just ignore the effort of a person who tries to keep in touch. People get tired.
