    Virtual recaps are the best… Slight sarcasm intended. They are quick because there isn’t much to talk about. I paid to run at my leisure. For some reason, I find myself needing to recap my virtual runs. Maybe because its something new or maybe because I spent money to run on my own time, in my own city, with no race fun.     Race Recap: San Jose Giant Race 5 Miler

    The race I always want to flake on… …but DON’T! I have to drive 1.5 hours the night before to get to Lil’s casa. Then we get up super early the next AM and drive 40 mins to the race. Then do it all over again for me to get back to SAC. I absolutely love supporting my Orange && Black, but this race takes its toll on me. Sadly, this may be our last SJ race now that the Lil is moving home. It doesn’t seem feasible or enjoyable to drive to SJ the morning of the race for a 7:30AM start time, nor does it seem exciting enough…

    Race Recap: San Jose Giants Race

    I Turn(ed) Two in San Jose… …but even more excited to become a Triple Bagger in September! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, let’s rejoice in the five miles that is the San Jose Giant Race. I’ve raved about this race since the first time I ran it, although no recap since I was just starting to blog then. I love the randomness of the course — city streets, up a rolling grassy hill, through a cool zoo, and finishing on an actual field (not a warning track)!
