    Musings: Pitchers & Catchers

    My favorite two words in February! This day is most important because it truly signifies the START of the baseball season. Pitchers and catchers are officially required to report today, but pretty much everyone comes now too. And in case you aren’t too much in to baseball, each team designates their own Pitchers & Catchers reporting day, BUT I’m only worried about when my boys are in Arizona! My men in Orange && Black are B A C K! As the rumors of Harper keep filling my feed, I am not holding my breath. So many changes happening it seems like its all a little chaotic. Oracle Park will ALWAYS be…

    Musings: Today, It’s Baseball Time…

    SF Giants BASEBALL to be exact. Not ideally where I’d like to start the season, but just happy it’s STARTING! Just in case you don’t follow the G-men and/or baseball, the SF Giants will be starting the 2018 MLB season against the Dodgers in LA. I  feel gross even writing their name :/ But, it’s not anything we (Giants fans) have control over. The home opener is on April 3, so we have that to look forward to, too! I was lucky enough to get a little taste of the G-men, early…even though no AZ this year 🙁 The fam and I went to the annual Sacramento Rivercats vs the…

    Musings: Pitchers && Catchers A N D FanFest

    Blogger FAIL, this was supposed to be posted yesterday // 2.13.17… Everyone is excited about GALentines, but it’s all about PITCHERS & CATCHERS reporting TODAY! via sfgiants.com I’m all about celebrating women, which is today….BUT…I can’t hide my excitement for Baseball season! Fan Fest for my beloved SF Giants was this weekend, which only heightened my excitement level. As we came down from the high of seeing our favorite humans and being in our home away from home, we didn’t have to let our low get too low. Because only two short days later is today, when our pitchers and catchers report to Arizona for Spring Training. Now, we all…

    WIAW – Women's World Cup EATS

    All the footy! AND all the food! Monday was the day that the US Women’s National Team (USWNT) had their first game of the Women’s World Cup. So, I will celebrate this special day (and their WIN) with my eats from that day. I better eat like that on Friday and Tuesday as well, it only is dumb if it doesn’t work, right? Seems like there was a little mix up on who was hosting, but don’t fret, Jenn at Peas & Crayons has it handled this week. Stop on over and see what everyone else is eating! Get inspired or just drool at all the food porn! Breakfast I…

    WIAW – As American As It Gets

    Red, white, and burgers (or baseball)!! I love American food fare, I really do. I enjoy the luxury of being able to eat it all the time, no matter the day or the events of the day. Now, only if it didn’t come with all the calories 😉 I’m pretty sure you already know what the hell WIAW is, but if not, take a peek at where it all started with Jenn! And if you’re bored nosy, go peep out what everyone else is eating too! I am going to break the rules today, since I didn’t eat dinner on Memorial Day, which is where the first half of the…

    Rose & Thorn [48]

    It was all about the Momma’s…Momma’s…Momma’s…. Rose: Mother’s Day! I love my Momma! Thorn: The most poorly run Race for the Cure in Sacramento, what a disappointment! I’m really keeping it short this week, like really! Friday Right after work I went straight to the mall to pick up our packets for the Race for the Cure, however, it wasn’t at the mall. But, I didn’t really care because the Guidette was meeting me there for coffee and shopping (re: 10,000 returns for her). I took her on her first trip to Lulu, it was amazing…she’s forever changed. Shopping is my cardio, iced coffee is my fuel! A little lulu…

    Thinking Out Loud – My First Game of the Season

    The SF Giants are everything (insert hands up emoji)! Amanda at .RUNNING WITH SPOONS. On Monday, I posted on FB, that I was already in love with this week. And it was NOT a lie! This week has been progressively been getting better and I can’t stop smiling today! Yesterday was my first SF Giants game of the 2015 season. And it did NOT disappoint one bit. From the road trip there, to the tailgating, to the actual game, to my sleepy ride home. Feeling completely blessed and grateful today! You should basically expect a post like this every single season, here’s last year’s post for my first game…such good…

    Gamer Babe – The Basics

    America’s Pastime is for the ladies too… Via Yup, I’m talkin’ baseball today, ladies (and gentlemen)! 7th Inning Stretch – Kasey At The Bat Thanks to Poppa Bear, I’ve bled Orange && Black from the beginning. Born and raised a SF Giants fan, I will forever love my team. I played softball from six to eight years of my life (I’m not actually sure how long), so I know the basics and some of the strategy of the game. I am making a small comparison to softball and baseball here, when I say I understand the game, don’t get your panties (isn’t that word so vile?) in a bunch! I…

    5 Things Friday – Short && Sweet, but I Prefer Sassy

    Just keepin’ it to five… Thanks, Clare! It’s been a minute since I’ve done this link-up, but I’m back at it this week. I don’t really feel like writing much today, so here is my lame attempt for today, sorry! Uneasy // I have absolutely no reason to be, but I’ve had an uneasy or unsettling feeling the last two days. I cannot, for the life of me, pin point why or where it’s coming from. Maybe it’s my intuition or maybe it’s misplaced, but whatever it is, it seems to be hindering my Christmas spirit. Everything is going good and normal, so I can’t fathom a reason I would…

    WIAW – Wild Card Goodness

    In honor of the SF Giants NLDS clinch last night, I’ll reflect on the night that got them here… Thanks, Jenn! If you don’t follow baseball, then I’m sorry. If you do, then you know what the Wild Card game is all about. MLB 101, real quick – skip if you already know this! Basically, the Wild Card is a one game elimination to see if you move on to the next round of the playoffs, the Division Series. There are two leagues within the MLB, the American League and the National League. Each league has a Wild Card game to determine who will be the fourth team in the…
