    Musings: #GaneebanTris – Week 3

    Still humbled, staying humble… …and halfway through. I better stop slacking, cause week 4 is right upon me and I haven’t even gotten through week 3 on the blog. My training hasn’t really progressed in any particular way. I still hit Midtown as much as I can per week, sprinkling soccer in here and there. My normal Saturday conditioner at Midtown didn’t happen, so I did a ‘brick’ style workout at Cal Fit.     Race Recap: SLO Half Marathon

    From Ambassador to (Halfer) Finisher… My experience may be a novel, so grab your popcorn and wine (or soda, if you’d prefer) and get ready. I’ll try to keep it on the short side, but we know how that goes with my verbose ways… I applied to be an Ambassador in October-ish 2014 and found out that I was selected. I was excited for so many reasons, but mainly because it meant I was guaranteed a trip back to my old college stomping rounds, which is my second favorite city in California!     First Attempt at a Race Recap: Nike Women's (Half) Marathon

    I ate some hills for breakfast! I can barely remember what I did a few hours ago, let alone every single mile of my race on Sunday. However, I will try to attempt to “recap” my first experience with one of the Nike Women’s Running series races. The drive to SF was smooth sailing. Up until about .3 miles from our hotel, did we experience the worst traffic EVER.
