    Musings: My First Disneyland Birthday

    It only took me 36 years… Thanks, parentals 😉 HAHA, JK, I’m totally kidding. I am so beyond blessed and spoiled by my parents, this is TOTALLY a joke! But, now I know why we generally didn’t go to Disneyland for my birthday. March in Anaheim is sketchy. Like, are you going to dump buckets or are you going to be warm and sunny? The week before we left I was looking at the weather app each day, possibly multiple times a day. All I kept seeing was the rain emoji for Sunday and cloudy for Monday.     Rose & Thorn [33]

    Weekends are now synonymous with “long runs”… Rose: Celebrating my dativersary with J. Thorn: The bottom of my feet hurting, something crazy, after my long run…new pain! Friday  Game night with the soccer homies! I say soccer homies because most of us play soccer together, but we all also hang out outside of soccer too. After work, I went home to make my BLT dip for the party and also clean up the casa a bit. Just another case of the #NailedIt , but on a much smaller scale this time.     'eeeeef Friday

    It’s Friday. Its Fabulous. Five Fabulous “F” things going on in my life… Fancy : Pulled out my fancy mickey cup and bought a fun bottle of wine for wrapping presents! By FUN, I generally mean I was intrigued by the label. I am no wine snob, this is obvious by my choosing of a “red blend”! I actually thought I was buying the Cab Sav, but I must have reached for the wrong bottle. Oh well, it tastes good and that’s all I’m looking for! I’m down with the sisterhood!     Merry, merry..

    And like that it’s done! The presence of my family, happy and healthy, is truly the greatest present I can receive. It’s one that cannot be bought, but only hoped for. Don’t get me wrong, real, tangible presents are great too – but being surrounded by loved ones goes much further than any actual present will! Work let us off really early on Christmas eve, so I got my eyebrows and hair done. Gotta look pretty for the big day 🙂 Then I finished some quick shopping, yes, I survived the grocery store and Target on Christmas eve!! With plenty of time to spare, I came home opened a bottle…
