    Musings: Full Moon Hike #OptOutside

Freezing bliss for a moonlit hike adventure. Are you a fan of co-ops? I am. Have been since I’ve worked at one and regularly shop at one. It made sends to become one with REI too. I didn’t even realize they were a co-op until more recently. And, you only have to pay $20 to be a member AND they give you a $20 gift card in return…you just have to wait one day to use it. Cali Girl Does Denver

…in a day! Well not really, but we basically dedicated our last (3/4’s of a) day to being extra touristy. If you haven’t noticed a pattern, I enjoy doing the touristy things…I’m sure J could care less, but he goes along with my antics, per the usu. Yeah, take your judgey pants off! I pay for the race,…

Race Recap: Run to Feed the Hungry 2013

Why does everyone else in America call it the Turkey Trot?!? Sounds ridiculous to me, but maybe that’s because I’ve been conditioned to calling our traditional Thanksgiving Day run “Run to Feed the Hungry”. Happy 20th Anniversary #RTFTH! I wish I knew how many exact races I’ve participated in, I think it’s anywhere from 10-15 over the last 20 years. I remember walking them as kids with the Lil’s entire soccer team and their families. To more recently, doing it every year with my immediate family. However, this year I rolled out SOLO! It was weird, to say the least. So apparently this race is the largest in the US.…
